Credit Specialist with focus on Sweden

We are looking for a Credit Specialist with responsibility for the Swedish market. The position is a maternity cover with start date April 1st and will run until June 1st, 2027.

About the position

As a Credit Specialist, you will ensure timely payments through continuous follow-up and close cooperation with Swedish customers and internal stakeholders. You will also work closely with an experienced Swedish colleague, with whom you will jointly manage and support the Swedish customer portfolio. Together, you will handle customer-related tasks and ensure a consistent and aligned approach to the Swedish market.

You will coordinate credit-related activities in accordance with the applicable credit policy for Sweden and contribute to a consistent and controlled management of credit risk.

The role primarily focuses on post-invoicing activities. You will work with payment follow-up, management of outstanding balances, and dialogue regarding credit-related matters. You will be part of the Nordic credit function, which manages customers at country level, and you will have responsibility for the Swedish customer portfolio.

You will report to the Nordic Credit Manager and will be entrusted with responsibility for your own tasks from the outset.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with payment terms and follow up on customer payments
• Managing credit risk, including blocking and releasing orders
• Maintaining dialogue with customers regarding payments, reconciliations and outstanding balances
• Handling disputes and claims related to deliveries, deductions and returns
• Ongoing communication with internal colleagues on credit-related matters
• Reporting and follow-ups using Excel and Power BI
• Contributing to compliance with and maintenance of the credit policy

We are looking for

To succeed in this role, it is important that you take ownership of your tasks and are able to work independently.

In addition, we expect that you:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience within accounts receivable, credit management or a similar role
• Have an understanding of finance and an interest in the tasks
• Have experience with credit management and payment follow-up
• Possess strong communication skills and are able to maintain constructive dialogue with customers and internal stakeholders
• Work in a structured manner and have good collaboration skills
• Have strong Excel skills, including pivot tables
• Have experience with or an interest in Power BI
• Are able to communicate in both english and swedish on a professional level.
