Integration Student Assistant For Pelican Self Storage

Pelican Self Storage is looking for a student to join the IT team in Virum. This is your chance to set up state-of-the-art integrations between different source systems, maintain and build APIs as well as work with Azure Cloud technologies!

INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPANY
Pelican Self Storage is a Nordic self-storage company established in 2009. Within the Nordic area Pelican Self Storage currently has 30+ operating sites, several sites under construction and many strong pipeline locations. The company offers storage for all purposes; relocation, not enough space at home, conversions, conversions of basements/lofts, seasonal storage, remote warehouses, etc.
Pelican has approximately 100 employees in the organization, with HQ in Copenhagen and offices in Stockholm and Helsinki. It is a very dynamic and energetic team with the ambition and desire to expand the business going forward.

TAKE PART IN BUILDING STATE-OF-THE-ART SYSTEMS
Pelican IT has over the last years completely transformed to a cloud infrastructure, and the work in IT is mainly done in the cloud. Pelican IT is busy working on strategic projects in securing lean working for all our 30+ sites, setting up automations, helping our users, maintaining device management system, etc. Core thinking is to make sure our Helpdesk receives as few incidents as possible by eliminating recurring problems.

ABOUT THE JOB
Of course, you will be thoroughly trained by your three IT colleagues. Once your foundation is in place, help your colleagues by making our CRM run smoothly. A big part of your job will be to improve, change and optimize. We are constantly focused on making things better than we did yesterday - it gives you both the opportunity to make an impact and to influence your own position.
A work laptop, phone and home internet will be provided to you. Salary will match your experience and skills.

Pelican is a very social company, where we often meet for a Friday bar and/or Team Dinners. Travel to our Nordic Sites will be done approximately yearly, and here you will participate as well.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You strive to make things better, you are responsible, and want to develop your skills.
- Our preferred profile is a promising skilled IT-student with programming skills. You will spend time on maintaining our advanced setup in CRM, databases, Azure, PowerBI, etc. And your work will to participate in projects.

Technical competences
- Current integrations are developed in: C#, ASP.NET, SQL and XML.
- The ability to read and write small programs, in languages and frameworks such as the above, will be required.
- Your work will be centralized around our main CRM system, Space Manager, which handles customers, contracts, billing, reporting etc.

In addition to these technical skills, knowledge of general and network infrastructure is welcomed.
You probably have some years of experience with application building / system support.

Other skills
- You are user-oriented and have a friendly mindset. You analyse the technical challenges at hand and solve them with service and quality in mind.
- You speak and write Danish and English fluently.

Practical Information:
Start-up: Soon as possible
Salary: Can be discussed

Working Hours: By agreement, preferably full-time or 15-20 hours per week. You will work from their office in beautiful surroundings in Virum, close to the station. You can also expect to travel to Sweden and Finland, as well as our other sites in the Copenhagen area.
