Reach Truck operator for Evening Shift in Hvidovre – Try & Hire!

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a quality-focused candidate to join the team in Hvidovre. The position is a 3-month full-time temporary contract with the intention of permanent employment with our client for the right candidate.

This is a try-and-hire position, giving both you and the company the opportunity to get to know each other during the initial 3 months with the goal of a permanent position afterwards.

You will become part of one of Scandinavia's largest global transport and logistics companies and join a dynamic team of 10-15 colleagues, where quality, teamwork and a good working environment are key priorities.

The company is continuously developing, and there will be opportunities to contribute ideas and initiatives that can help improve the daily operations.

Your tasks will be varied, with the main responsibility being to ensure that the warehouse operates efficiently and that the daily workflow runs smoothly.

The company handles goods transported by air to and from Denmark, and your tasks will include:

• Loading and unloading goods
• Receiving goods and preparing shipments
• Operating a reach truck and other warehouse equipment
• Handling air freight documentation
• Registering and handling goods in the warehouse management system
• Various manual warehouse tasks

It is important that you understand that this position does not consist solely of driving a truck. Part of your working day will involve manual and physically demanding tasks, including lifting and handling goods. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys a varied workday and is comfortable both operating a reach truck and taking on physical tasks when required.

• Holds a valid forklift certificate and has solid experience operating forklifts
• Has experience operating a reach truck
• Is comfortable with both forklift driving and physically demanding manual warehouse tasks
• Thrives in a busy and international environment
• Works in a structured and systematic manner and has a strong eye for quality and detail
• Has good IT skills
• Is reliable and responsible
• Can obtain the required security clearance to handle air freight

Practical information

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00-19:00
• 37 hours per week
• Location: Hvidovre
• Employment: 3-month full-time temporary contract through StudentConsulting with the intention of permanent employment with our client
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Salary: In accordance with the applicable collective agreement
