Full-time Portfolio Planner for a global company in Lund!

As a Portfolio Planner, you will be responsible for identifying deficiencies in processes, data, and tools related to portfolio planning. You will analyze the current situation, propose solutions, and ensure that improvements are actually implemented. An important part of the role is also to develop advanced tools and dashboards that create transparency and provide decision support at both the strategic and operational levels.

You will work closely with various stakeholders in the organization and act as a bridge between operations, IT, and management.

In this role, you will work with, among other things:

  • Be responsible for portfolio planning by identifying deficiencies in processes, data, and tools, and driving improvements all the way to implementation
  • Manage and update portfolio roadmaps in line with business needs and strategic goals
  • Ensure transparency in the portfolio through clear visualizations and decision-making support
  • Produce analyses and reports that support steering groups and other decision-making forums
  • Collect, quality assure, and structure data from multiple systems and sources
  • Work with and improve data flows and working methods in business management systems


In this assignment, you will be employed by StudentConsulting but will work at our client's premises in Lund, with the possibility of some remote work. The position is full-time and the working hours are office hours Monday-Friday. The assignment will run until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension. The position is intended to be filled immediately.

We are looking for

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant higher education in, for example, economics, technology, civil engineering, or similar
  • 3–5 years of experience in portfolio planning, project management, or strategic planning
  • A good understanding of organizational processes, systems, and working methods
  • Experience in financial planning and budgeting
  • Strong technical understanding of IT, systems, and infrastructure
  • Very good system skills and understanding of complex systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Waterfall, Agile, SAP, and PlanView)

As a person, you are solution-oriented, structured, and meticulous. You take responsibility, drive issues forward, and have the ability to influence and create consensus even without a formal mandate. You thrive in a fast-paced international environment and communicate fluently in English.
