Forklift driver for Imercos warehouse in Vallensbæk - evening team

We are looking for a forklift driver to join Imercos Facility team. You will have an important role in the daily operation of our 45 AutoStore robots, while also helping ensure that the warehouse remains clean, organised and running efficiently.

Your primary responsibility will be to

Your tasks will include:

• Being responsible for the ongoing battery changes on the 45 AutoStore robots
• Monitoring the robots and reacting if something is not working as expected
• Using your technical understanding to identify and handle minor operational issues related to AutoStore
• Operating a standard forklift as part of your daily work
• When AutoStore is running smoothly, joining the Facility team as a cardboard handler
• Helping keep the warehouse floor clear of cardboard, waste and empty packaging

This is a varied position where you will work with forklifts, technology and the practical tasks that keep the warehouse running.

You will receive a thorough introduction and training during October, giving you the opportunity to learn the warehouse processes, forklift tasks and AutoStore system. After the training period, the position will be full-time from 9 November to 4 January, during our busy Christmas season.

During the Christmas season, the warehouse is under extra pressure. As part of the Facility team, you must therefore be prepared to work weekends when needed.

We are looking for

We are not simply looking for a forklift driver.

You need to have a good technical understanding and an interest in electronics, as you will be working closely with the AutoStore robots. You do not need to be a robotics technician, but you should be curious about technology, able to understand how things work together and willing to learn the AutoStore system.

• Has a valid forklift certificate and experience operating a forklift
• Has a technical mindset and an interest in electronics and automated systems
• Can stay calm and maintain an overview when things get busy
• Works independently and takes responsibility
• Is practically minded and not afraid to get involved
• Enjoys a varied working day where tasks can change
• Is a team player who is willing to help wherever needed

Experience with AutoStore or other automated warehouse systems is an advantage, but the most important thing is your technical curiosity and willingness to learn.
